Onboarding and recalls

Turn every new registration into a good start.

Once a patient is registered, Arrivo welcomes them, helps them set up the NHS App, records what you need to know, invites them to the right first appointments, and keeps their reviews on track with recalls they can book themselves.

Welcome

A welcome that answers the first questions

Every new patient gets a welcome message in your words, with how to book, how to order repeat prescriptions and where to get help out of hours, in their preferred language.

  • Your wording, sent from your practice name
  • In the patient's preferred language
  • Fewer first calls to reception

NHS App and online access

The NHS App and online record access set up safely

Arrivo sends new patients the steps to set up the NHS App with NHS login, and flags anyone whose online record access needs a check by your team first, so access is turned on safely.

  • NHS App set-up steps sent with the welcome
  • Patients who need a check before access flagged
  • Each step recorded in the audit trail

First appointments

The right first appointments offered

Based on the record and the criteria you set, Arrivo invites new patients to the appointments they need: a review for a long-term condition, an NHS Health Check for eligible adults, or immunisation catch-up for children arriving from abroad, following UK Health Security Agency guidance.

  • Invitations by criteria you set
  • Immunisation catch-up for children arriving from abroad
  • Carers and communication needs recorded and coded

Recalls

Recalls patients can book themselves

When a review is due, Arrivo sends an invitation with a link to book into the slots you set aside, reminds anyone who hasn't booked, and lists those who still haven't responded for your team to call.

  • Self-booking into the slots you release
  • Reminders, then a list for your team to call
  • Uptake shown in Insights
