Record-ready

From GP2GP arrival to a record your clinicians can use

GP2GP auto-integration now files each record when it arrives.3 The clinical follow-up still falls to your team. Arrivo puts every item in front of the right person, in order of clinical risk, and tracks it until it's done.

What record-ready means

A record is ready when its degraded entries are filed, its medicines and allergies are reconciled, it has been summarised, and its recalls are set. Arrivo tracks each of those for every new patient and shows you which records are still waiting and why.

A person signs off every summary.

Arrivo prepares and prioritises the work. Clinical decisions stay with your clinicians, and our clinical safety case sets out how each feature is controlled.

GP2GP tracking

Every transfer followed from request to integration

Arrivo follows each new patient's GP2GP transfer. If a transfer stalls, fails or arrives without its attachments, Arrivo flags it with the reason so your team can act the same day.

  • Status for every new patient in one list
  • Missing or oversized attachments flagged
  • Stalled transfers flagged with the previous practice's contact details, ready to chase

Degrades

Degraded entries filed or batched

When a record moves between EMIS Web and SystmOne, some coded entries can't be converted and arrive as free text. These are called degrades. Arrivo groups them by type, files the ones your practice's rules cover, and batches the rest so your summariser can review them in one sitting.

  • You decide which kinds of degrade can be filed automatically
  • The rest arrive grouped, with the original text alongside
  • Works on SystmOne and EMIS Web

Medicines and allergies

Medicines and allergies reconciled by the right clinician

Repeat medicines and allergies from the previous practice need a clinician's review before they're issued or relied on. Arrivo sends each item to the right clinician as a task, with the history alongside, and keeps it visible until it's done.

  • Tasks routed by your rules, such as to the duty GP or a clinical pharmacist
  • Items due for issue soon shown first
  • Nothing marked done until a clinician completes it

Summarising

A summarising queue ordered by clinical risk

Arrivo orders the summarising queue so patients with high-risk conditions or medicines come first, such as anticoagulants, insulin or a recent cancer diagnosis. For each record it pulls out the key coded history for your summariser to confirm, correct or reject.

  • High-risk records summarised first, not oldest first
  • Key history laid out ready to check
  • A person signs off every summary

Recalls

Recalls and registers set from day one

Review dates don't carry over from the previous practice. Arrivo prompts your team to set recalls and add patients to the right disease registers, based on the conditions in their record, so nobody misses a review in their first year with you.

  • Long-term condition reviews, screening and immunisation prompts
  • Suggested dates based on the last review on record

Records from elsewhere

Records GP2GP can't move

GP2GP only works between practices in England. For patients arriving from Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, abroad or private care, Arrivo starts the right process for each case and reminds your team until the record arrives. Where part of a record is still on paper, Arrivo tracks it in transit and tells your summariser when it lands.

  • Primary Care Support England requests prepared for records from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
  • Letters to previous providers, and subject access request templates for patients arriving from abroad or private care
  • Reminders until each record is received and summarised
